Royal Garden Hotel's Graham Bamford elected
President of the 'Reunion des Gastronomes'
'Reunion des Gastronomes', the London-based hotel and catering profession organisation has elected the Royal Garden Hotel's, Graham Bamford, as President.
The organisation, set up in the last days of the nineteenth century, was devised to protect in anyway possible, the interests of its members. It also has a mission to develop, support and promote the culinary arts.
Bamford has been a member, a position that is strictly by invitation only, since 1999 and has been a staunch supporter thereafter.
Graham Bamford has always had a unique approach to running a five star hotel and is proud of its history of protecting and promoting hotel employees interests. 'I am particularly proud' says Bamford, 'of our staff's long term commitment, many have been with us since the hotel was reopened in 1996. This helps create a country house atmosphere where regular visitors are greeted as old friends.'
Graham's vision for his tenure as President of Reunion des Gastronomes is for the organization to provide a unique forum amongst it's members of Hoteliers, London's Club Secretaries and distinguished chefs. 'There is a massive amount of experience in the ranks of the Reunion Members, I would like to see this as a valuable resource for younger guests at our events.'
